Hell on EarthFinal Design
For my project a had to design a game and create a Poster and DVD sleeve for the game. So firstly I sketched 2 characters and a landscape, I then scanned these into the computer and created vector graphs of them after doing this I created a logo and name for my game.then I coloured these in and used them in creating my Poster and my DVD sleeve.
For the game I chose a WW1 and then decided to base the game on the battle of The Somme. I then had to come up with a Protagonist and an Antagonist which I called Toby Maquire and Leon Kappel.
The Object of Hell on Earth is to complete missions and progress the British army to break through the German lines. Players will be able to use the inventions that were used in trench warfare such as the machine gun, the tank, gas, and a variety of rifles. Different missions will include capturing enemy trenches, using tanks to bombard enemy line, hold off enemy troops and rescue any British prisoners. Players will be able to control Toby Maguire a rookie British commander who at the start of the game doesn't command respect but as you progress through the game Toby will become more experienced and gain the respect of his squad. As you go through the game u will be against Leon Kappel, the german commander who is a veteran of war he is experienced and aggressive.
